Chievo - Mantova 1 @ 2.05 6/10
Very interesting match here between two candidates for the promotion. Both team are in good form, Chievo is doing the top championship like all we thought while for Mantova the situation is getting better only in the recent period.
Chievo won the last two away from home matches (0-2 against Brescia and 0-1 against La Spezia) and now is in the third position and they want to move their table. The major improvement in this last period for Iachini’s team is to have improved their defensive line, they didn’t concede goal in the last 180 minutes but they have still some problem when they have to face the rivals of similar quality but the recent win against Brescia leads them to hope for the best.
For Mantova this could be the truth match, in fact if they pass this test without damages they could be considered finally recovered. For the match Fiore, Grauso and Noselli will miss for sure while Corona, Passoni and Balestri, are still doubtfull for Mantova. Only Mandelli will be out for Chievo. I want to try an home win here
Frosinone - Vicenza 1 @ 1.95 8/10
It is interesting the home win in this match also because Vicenza will play without their leader Schwoch, out due the suspension like Cudini. In the round Frosinone lost against Cesena (3-0 the resuklts) but they didn’t make a bad impression, in the first half time they could score at least a goal, it didn’t happen and the match finished as they know. Also for Vicenza the last match is coincided with a defeat ( at home against Bologna) after a good match for them, they created some problem to Bologna for an hour but at the end the major Bologna’s techniques did the difference.
At home Frosinone is an hard team to defeat, 4 w – 2 d –2 l is the trend but the very interesting data is that they scored more or less 2 goals for match. In the away from home match Vicenza won two times, at home they have still an 0 in the win column, but without Scwhoch I see the match very hard for them.
Piacenza - Triestina X @ 3.00 8/10
After four wins in a row Triestina will face Piacenza in huge need of points. The hosts in the last away from home match against Albinoleffe showed their negative moment conceding to the opponent more than the final 2-0 says. After the change of the coach some little improvement has been noted but they have still to solve some urgent problems like the difficult to score, with their 13 goals they have the worst attack in this serie B.
The visitors, Triestina, arrives here after 4 wins in a row, their sticker Granochè started to score with continuity and doesn’t seem to want to stop in the next matches.
I can’t believe that Triestina will continue to win all match from now on, and considering that they won 3 out of the last six matches my choice is a draw here.
Rimini - Pisa 1 @ 2.15 4/10
Rimini - Pisa Over 2.5 @ 1.98 4/10
Pisa will play again an away from home match in the next round but this time the situation for them are very hard, a lot of fundamental players will miss saturday: Raimondi, in the defensive line should be out, in the midfield Cerci is injured and he won’t be on the field for sure but the major problem for Ventura will be in the attack line where both Kutuzov and Rajicic are in strong doubt for Saturday. Pisa lately have shown some signs of slowing down, two draws in a row cost them the leadership. For Pisa the main problem in this season will be the absence, in fact the technical difference between the fundamental players and who is sitting on the bench is very high.
Rimini in the last match against Triestina decided to rest and at the end they lost after a long series of positive results. I don’t think that this defeat have to be considered like a sign of some problem, it is significant in my eyes that Rimini won five out of their eight home matches and also 4 matches in a row, but a defeat against Triestina could be normal. The good news for Rimini after this match are that they have fought for all 90 minutes, they had some good opportunities to draw the match but Jeda and Co. didn’t have a good shoot.
The not exciting moment for Pisa and the number of possible absences suggest to try an home win.
Treviso - Bari 1 @ 2.00 6/10
Treviso in spite of the good moment is still in the lower part of the table, four matches without a defeat and this is almopst a good news for a team that in the past have collected only 3 matches without defeat. The home team here have the great chance to climb still the table and to leave, for the first time in this season, the relegation zone. Bari on the hother hand is living another anonymous season and also this year they are suffering the huge number of absences both for injuries and for suspension. In this first part of the season Materazzi have lined up only two times the better team. The visitors have no win in the away from home matches and I don’t believe they will be able to win here against a Treviso that can’t lose other points here
