SIENA - MILAN

First match for new Milan with Leonardo on the bench and without Kakà in the field.

After the not great summer, where Milan lost all the important matches, showing a bad form now the Leonardo’s men are called to replay to all the question marks still open. The defensive line, excluding the newcomer Thiago Silva, seems to be the weakest point for this team; all the other (Favalli, Zambrotta) are all in their descendent phase or ( Oddo Kaladze) have evident limits
The goalkeeper role is still partially covered , Abbiati is out, and Storari seem to have won the place against Dida and Roma.
The midfield with Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Flamini and Seedorf and attack line (Pato, Hunteelar Borriello and the evergreen Pippo Inzaghi) are ok for Milan.

On the other side Siena have lost defender Juan Camilo Zuniga, midfielder Houssine Kharja and sold the strong defender Portanova to buy Terzi not at the same level IMO.
During the pre season matches Siena didn’t make great impression also because Giampaolo tested different solution to reorganize his team and at the end seem that 4-3-2-1 should be the definitive choose.

In my opinion Milan has the possibility to begin the season with an external win due the major experience in spite the absence of Hunteelar in the attack line and also considering that next week they will face Inter.

Bologna and Fiorentina will open the new serie A season

Papadopulos will have an hard target to reach in this new season : avoid again the relegation.

During the transfer market Bologna changed all defensive line, in fact in the goal will debut the young Viviano while in the defensive line Portanova and Raggi will play near the confirmed Lanna.
As regarding the other sector midfielder Roberto Guana and striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo joined the club and should be regurarly on the field agaist Fiorentiona. Who is not sure to play against Viola is the goleador Marco di Vaio that is suffering an injury.

On the other side Fiorentina arrives to this match after having started the season against with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League play-off match, 2-2 the result.
Prandelli lost Felipe Melo but two interesting palyers like Cristiano Zanetti and Marco Marchionni joined the club while, in my opinion, Fiorentina have to fix some little problem in the defensive line buying another couple of players.

Considering the different technical level between the two teams I think that an away win with a AH could be a good choose here.
